Over the past two decades, sustainability has moved from the margins to the mainstream of architectural practice. Yet our industry’s organizational structures, career pathways, and accountability metrics have not kept pace. Jill will share her own circuitous journey as a practioner, her experience in growing sustainability within an integrated design practice, as well as some of the research she has been leading with other national firms with established sustainability leadership. She will share about the power of Impact Measurement to advance meaningful sustainability within projects and the power of building performance analysis in the design process.
