MKSD architects is committed to developing progressive architectural solutions that are thoughtful, functional and sustainable responses to our clients’ programs and missions. We believe that each project that we undertake is unique and important and that our architectural solutions should reflect the client’s needs, personality, budget, schedule and goals while positively contributing to the built environment.

We provide comprehensive services for all phases of planning, design, and construction for new buildings, additions, and renovations. Our expertise and experience spans from healthcare, educational, and municipal facilities, commercial retail and office buildings, to recreational spaces, and places of worship for a client base that is expanding across the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Our firm is owned by three partners; Silvia Hoffman, AIA, LEED AP; Todd O. Chambers, AIA, NCARB; and Jill P. Hewes, RA, LEED AP BD+C. MKSD architects is also licensed to perform architecture in New Jersey and Delaware and is certified as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firm.

Our firm features eight Pennsylvania-registered architects, five LEED accredited professionals, and two NCARB licensed architects. MKSD also offers construction administrators, drafters, interiors specialists, specification writers, and administrative and support personnel. MKSD is unique in the way that our firm is managed. Our Partners lead our client contact and oversee full project management of a project—our Partners actually remain involved with our projects. They are not just figureheads, which you typically find with bigger architectural/engineering firms—MKSD’s Partners actually do design work and oversee the day-to-day management and oversight of our projects.
